Management is what it is all about. Boards must manage budgets, the management company, and the community. This is no easy task by any means. Unfortunately, some boards don't have the proper skill set to manage everything effectively. While an "A" for effort may be awarded to students in grade school, unfortunately it doesn't apply in the real world, or at least in HOA's. So a board with no management skill try as they may will only find themselves frustrated and behind.
Also, with so many management companies in South Florida believe it or not many are not qualified to manage communities. This may be hard to believe but trust me we at HOA Watch Dog consultants have seen it first hand.
While lack of management can be a killer, HOA Watch Dog consultants can help! We can asses your management skill level, and offer advice to better manage your community.
